Uh-oh!

Here I am trying to roll out of my bouncer. I was very happy like this. Mom and Dad said they are going to start strapping me.

Me and my buddy

This is my buddy Hershey, the black cocker spaniel. I like watching her. She wants me to share my toys with her. I guess my toys are neater than hers.

I rolled over!

Yes, it finally happened. I rolled over from back to stomach tonight after dinner. Mom and Dad were cheering me on and I finally did it! I was so proud of myself that I didn't want to be on my back again. I enjoyed the new view for a little while. I also sat in my seat at the table while Mom made dinner. There are no pictures of my rolling over, but mom caught it on film.

Tummy Time

I am not a fan of the Tummy Time, so Dad helped me out and put me up on the boppy. I like to crawl over it and plant my face on the mat. I haven't figured out how to stay up with my arms, but I can push with my strong legs.

Sundays are great

On Sunday, we get up early and go to church. The nice nursery workers feed me while Dad and Mom are in church. Then, we go with Grandpa and Grandma Buell to lunch. I think this happens every Sunday. Well, we always come home after and I eat again. It never fails that I have a really stinky diaper after church. It was Dad's turn to change me. He thought I was going to get him too!

Week 14

Dad decided to give me a bath while Mom was gone. She came home in the middle and captured the whole thing on film. He's pretty good at it, but I didn't like being taken out of the tub.

What's new?

I have almost rolled over from my back to my stomach. I just cannot figure out how to get my head turned to make me complete the roll. My half roll is my favorite thing to do during diaper changes. It makes putting on the diaper a challenge, but I am a baby and that's my job.

I am much more alert and love to watch the world around me. My favorite thing right now is to watch my dad do the Braves tomahawk chop. It makes me smile!

13 weeks

Laughing

I have discovered my voice and have enjoyed laughing. So far, only in front of mom, but she caught some of it on film. I like the toy bar on my bouncer now. Before, it just blocked my view of mom and dad. I also am enjoying tummy time more. Mom lays lots of toys out for me to see and hear. I have not tried grabbing for them because I would lose my balance. I am holding my head up higher and higher.

My parents took me for my 3 month pictures today. I wasn't too interested in smiling, but I had fun making faces. Here is my mom's favorite picture.

My Great Aunt Cathy and Great Aunt Gretta

Aunt Cathy and I posed for this picture at the Augusta boat race. Well, the first picture was when the storm was passing over and the motor home started to shake...we won't share that picture. We are happy now that the storm is over. Aunt Gretta must have taken me away from my Great Grandma Jacobs...she was really good at putting me to sleep...something I used to not do a lot of!

Pictures of me with my Great-Grandmas

Grandma Jacobs loved to hold me. I slept a lot in her arms when Aunt Gretta wasn't trying to take me away.Grams (as the others call my GG Buell) comes to visit me while my mom is off work. She had the touch too! Can you see the family resemblance?

Pictures of me with my Uncles

Uncle Colby looks pretty scared of me. I think people were giving him bad information. Uncle David got me to sleep before we left for the 4th of July parade. He thought all I did was cry.

Pictures of me with my Grandma and Grandpa Deffenbaugh

Grandpa and I posed for this picture at the beginning of July. I decided not to cry while he was holding me. Grandma and I posed for this picture when I was just days old. I look pretty good!

Pictures of me with my Grandpa and Grandma Buell

These pictures were taken of me on my birthday at Kennestone Hospital. I didn't look that squished! =)

What I have been up to for 3 months you ask?

Well, I have had a very busy three months. First, I spent a few days in the hospital while Mom recovered. People even came to see me...Grandma and Grandpa Buell, Uncle Colby, Great Grandma Buell, Great Aunt Sheila, Great Uncle Tim (he gave me the nickname R2M2, in case you were wondering), Dawn, Melinda, Mary Ann, Marty, Brian and Matt.

Then, I came home and the next day Grandma Deffenbaugh came to stay for two WHOLE weeks. That was great. She knew how to put me to sleep. I liked to give everyone a hard time. Paula and Kathryn from Mom's work also came by the house to see me.

The beginning of June I got to meet even more people. My cousin Betsy and Jacque came to host a welcome shower. Great Grandma Jacobs and Great Aunt Gretta flew down just to see me too!

Mom took me to her work when I was 4 weeks old. I screamed most of the time. I wasn't into the car ride and just wasn't happy out of my element.

Mom and Dad took me all over. But, my biggest outing to date was to Rhode Island at the beginning of July. I got to met my Grandpa Deffenbaugh and Uncle David. We all went to Bristol, RI for the oldest 4th of July parade. Mom and Dad also took me to Kennebunkport, ME. It was a great trip.

The weekend after I got to meet my Great Uncle Ken, Great Aunt Cathy, Cousin Joanna and Cousin Anthony. My Great Uncle was in a drag boat race in Augusta, GA. He placed first! It was exciting trip because of his win and the tornado that was on the other side of the river.

That's basically been it.

3 Months Today

I am three months old today. It was a big day! I spent the day with Miss Janine and then I got to sit at the table with Mom and Dad. It was pretty cool. I have a new chair, so I can watch Mom and Dad eat. They said in a few months I will be able to eat with them. Cool.

Gymboree

I have been busy! I started Gymboree Baby Signs when I was 6 weeks old. Here's me at Gymboree this last weekend.

Pool Party

Here are some pictures of us at the pool. I generally give my parents a hard time and then I fall asleep in my float. The big kids at the pool keep the waves coming, so I feel like I am in the ocean.

Okay, we finally got it figured out

My parents have been trying to figure out the whole blogging thing. Now, we got it. I am going to be three months old tomorrow. Here are some new pictures of me!
